What You’ll Do

As a Commercial Lines CSR, you’ll play a key role in servicing and supporting a portfolio of commercial clients. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Servicing existing commercial accounts, including policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and remarkets
  • Assisting with quoting, binding, and policy issuance across a range of commercial risks
  • Reviewing policies for accuracy, completeness, and coverage gaps
  • Communicating with insurers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve issues
  • Supporting Producers with new business submissions and renewals
  • Helping clients understand their coverage in clear, practical language
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with E&O and regulatory standards
  • Collaborating with teammates to meet service standards and client retention goals

Who We’re Looking For

  • RIBO License (required)
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of commercial insurance experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working with broker management systems and insurer portals (SIG XP an asset)
  • CAIB and/or CIP designation encouraged and supported

Compensation & Perks

  • Salary: $55,000 – $75,000 per year, based on experience
  • Work Model: Hybrid role based in the Durham Region
